We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Production Assistant to support daily operations in our wood mill. If you’re comfortable working with tools, enjoy staying active and take pride in doing things right, this could be a great fit.
What you will do
- Assist in the operation of machinery and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support the team in meeting production goals.
- Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed.
Requirements
- A woodworking background is preferred.
- Ability to assemble and fabricate products accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Fluent Spanish and English speaker is beneficial.
- Must be reliable and have reliable transportation.
- Prior experience with power tools, hand tools and mechanical knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Highschool diploma or GED Equivalent.
